The Notting Hill Carnival happens every year, on the Summer bank holiday weekend (the last weekend and following Monday of August) and for over 40 years it's been a celebration of cultural diversity.
We got there quite late in the day so probably missed most of the fun, but here's a video of the last few bits of the parade:
As you can see, it's no Carnival in Rio, and it might have been different earlier in the day, but the atmosphere and the music were great. We might plan things differently next year, and maybe go earlier and with a group of friends.
Still, we had a very good day in London :D
